I've also used my share of editors. Just like picking a cover designer, pairing with an editor is a personal thing. YOU NEED TO MESH AS A DUO. THE EDITOR SHOULD LIKE YOUR GENRE, YOUR PARTICULAR STYLE. IN MY OPINION, THERE'S A BALANCE TO GRAMMATICAL CORRECTNESS AND STYLISTIC VOICE. FIND SOMEONE WHO 'GETS' THAT (IF YOU AGREE WITH ME, OF COURSE). you want someone who's reliable and knows ̶T̶H̶E̶R̶E̶ ̶T̶H̶E̶Y̶'̶R̶E̶ their shit. BUT ALSO IS EXCITED TO READ NEW THINGS FROM YOU. tHAT'S THE KICKER FOR ME REALLY.
